Pizza…
Its round and made of dough
Topped with sauce and cheese just so.
It’s a big round treat
Filled with vegetables and cheese.
It’s a pizza cooked just right.
Are you ready? Have a bite! Lets make it first!!!
So hop over to Anita’s, A Mad Tea Party for ingredients and instructions while you see the step by step pics over here!!!!!
Combine the flour and the salt. Make a hole in the middle and add sugar and oil.

Pour a cup of warm water and sprinkle the yeast and some herbs (not in the original recipe by Anita).

Mix to form a wet sponge and leave it for 20 mins.

Mix more water/dry flour and knead for 10 mins till forms a ball. The dough should be soft but not sticky. Apply a bit of oil over and cover to let it rise for about 2 hours.

WAH!!!!!!

Punch down to release all the air. Knead a bit again and then make small balls and shape/stretch it on the tray. (I know its not perfectly round!!! but you kinda have to fight with it literally to get the desired shape. ) Rest it for about 10-15 mins.

Spread the tomato sauce followed by the toppings. I made a Margarita,

(after baking…. going easy on cheese
)

And with the veggies (Mushroom, bell peppers, baby corn, onion )

No final pic after baking
. We were too eager to gobble it up
!!!!!
I have never eaten a pizza as soft and as delicious as this one!!!!! And as Anita has mentioned, you will forget Dominos or Pizza hut for sure!!!!!!
And this is my own entry for MBP!
So join me guys…….

Great pizza ben. I have never made it myself but my sister in law Priti does. Always great to eat homemade pizzas and guess what, I always have a extra topping of green chillis on top. I am chilli mad, is there a cure doctor!!….~grin~…take care ben…thanks for you being you…
WAH!!!! I think I can call you chilli man!!!! In pizza also you want chilli!!!!!! coming to think of it, people do sprinkle dry chilli flakes over pizza. So its not a totally out of the world idea.
Thanks dilip bhai

YUP!!! Absolutely!!!
Great job Coffee! Pizza from scratch, thats a lot of work, but I must say its looking yummy and beautiful pictures of each and every step.
Thanks for the recipe.
Your welcome Nidhi
Yes its a lot of work, but the results are amazing!!!!
So, Sorry Coffee for writing the wrong name. Pleeeeeeeee……..ase forgive me.
Its okay Nidhi
The pizza looks really good. Did u bake it in the convection mode of a microwave oven?
I saw ur post on besanwale capsicum. In Maharashtra we make it the same way . We also have another variation to this one . Using the same recipe omit the capsicum for spring onions (use the leaves too), radish (use its leaves also), and only onions. We make it with onions when theres no vegetable at home.
This onion one tastes extremely good with bajra roti or jowar roti (bhakri), accompanied with typical our style garlic chutney . Iwill be giving a post on that.
Hi Archana
Welcome to the blog :)Yes I made it in convection oven.
You idea to make the besanwale other veggies is great. Yes, we also make with onion and radish leaves and sometimes with meethi as well.
Hey Coffee, have tagged you for a meme! Also, I updated my older meme to include you, check it out!
