India trip….. and a Guessing Game…..
And so I am back!!!!!!!!! After a month looooooooooooong trip back home. 
Hope you all missed me!!!!!
I sure did enjoy my trip……. what with meeting family and friends……. eating the road side foods……. shopping till I would literally drop!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But what I was really disappointed with was the traffic and the crowds…..!!!!!!!!!!! I was this close to pulling my hair out!!!!! There was not one road which was not dug up………be it any highway or a small lane. I hope the underground metro railways for which they are digging up the roads so much turns out to be something fruitful !! And this leads to traffic jams and so much of pollution and dust all over. For the initial 2-3 days I was washing my hands every half an hour!!!!!!!
I am one person who loves driving!!!!!! Even in the middle of the night if you wake me up and ask me to drive a car I will do it happily (India or anywhere)……. but this time I chose not to touch the steering wheel..!!!!!!! Even just sitting back in the passenger seat I was going mad looking at the traffic jams!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope the claims they were making for India Poised really turns out to be true…….. things are changing, thats for sure…….. but it will take some time.
But whatever it may be and how ever it may be……… It still feels like you are going back home. 
A place which was yours……. a place where you belong!!!

I think first one is some ragi flour(mill grinded),second is podi (spices)…for rice ….

India is frustrating,not just traffic.We are used to so much space around us specially in US,I just can’t take the crowd and the smell.But it’s our country you see,got to love the spirit.
First one is Bajra and the second is powdered spices like Sambhar pd?! * dodging the danda*!!!:D

Hope you had a wonderful time in India. I suffered a lot during my last trip to India. Dust and the crowd made me very sick. I stayed at home without visting anybody or going out anywhere. But still we love it , its our country isnt it?

You are in Singapore, right: i have a friend there who tells me that driving there is difficult not because of roads, but because of the fact that its difficult to buy cars due to all the paper work/taxes etc etc., and that there’s even something like weekend driving permit, which is easier to get than a full week driving permit!! and you still love driving-do you get enough opprtunities ;).
Now to the guessing game:
First: Ragi or Bajra (not completely sure)
Second: Chutney podi

LOL I too had the same experience. I think all talk about the traffic in India once they go from here, though we were all so used to it from childhood, we get used to this later and start getting scared when huge trucks approch so close.

Welcome back buddy… Talking about traffic and polution in India Arrrrrrr I don’t even wanna talk …. Now coming to the guessing section the white one is mill ground chapathi flour and the red one must be some kind of chutney powder.
1st mountain looks like ragi flour….and the second…some mix with besan flour? no idea….
oh…I wud say wow abt anything on India…Iam dying to make a visit soon….and i swear i wont even sigh for any traffic jam / corruption u see there….i jus wanna go n be there….forever n ever………
