Quick Coconut Ladoo
Now that Nupur has given a green signal for Q for quick, it’s time to showcase an array of all my quick recipes!!
For a quick recipe this will be a quick post since I need to quickly go and do a quick shopping for a dinner that I am having at home…….. So shall we quickly begin?
Actually its so simple to make that it hardly requires a recipe……….If you just follow the pics you should be able to make it easily.
Quickly remove some dessicated coconut and heat it on a heavy bottom pan. Keep stiring in between to make sure it doesn’t become brown. Once it’s heated a bit add condensed milk and mix it all together. Add about 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder for that extra flavour.

I know! I know! I am not telling you how much of coconut or the condensed milk, but you see I was in a hurry to run to the market for some quick shopping to I just used my judgment and added enough till it forms a good lump. Now with all you wonderful expert cooks around I am sure I can trust your judgment over here for this right??!!!

Once it forms a good lump switch off the stove and quickly roll them into small balls.

Roll them on some dry dessicated coconut while they are still hot!!

Thats it!!!! Wasn’t that super QUICK!!!! ( I can even send it for S for Super Quick!! :P )
No fat and no hours of sweating in the kitchen!!
Store them in an air tight container and it will stay for 4-5 days easily!!

Wow, great recipe - I like these ’super quick’ ladoos but since I am not-so-expert cook at all ( infact I prefer not to cook, but with two little kids I cant get away with not cooking, so, I am learning to cook through all your lovely ladies’ blogs and specially love the simple and easy recipies where I dont have to slog in the kitchen for hours !), it will take me a while to perfect the quantities, but it will be worth a try !
Now thsi is a real treat i say.lovely.Looks awesome its so tempting..hmmm irresistable …
hehe.. That was indeed quick!!! The laddu looks lovely….. I have a similar post on my blog, but I’ve used mango puree instead of coconut. The pics look gr8!!
All I can say is it’s a good thing I don’t have any condensed milk in the pantry. If I did, I would have a plateful of coconut ladoos in my belly
Yum!
Yum!! I am definitely going to try these (even though I am monitoring my blood sugar these days :P). It indeed is a super easy and super quick recipe. I am sure my daughter and husband would love that.
BTW - your post on Muthiye caught my eye. Left a long comment about it on your other blog “WithACupOfCoffee”.
Thanks for dropping by my blog. Mind if I add you to my favorites’ list?
Coffee,
