Spinach Avocado Salad

Spinach Avocado copy

A wonderful refreshing salad with absolutely contrasting textures!! One more experiment of Nigella’s recipes after this. After the rich, moist, chewy brownie, it has to be a salad ;)

Now take note of the recipe very very carefully okay! Go with the steps in order and follow exactly as I have mentioned! ;)

First wash the baby spinach and leave it in a colander to drain all the water.

Cut the avocado in half and scoop out chunks of avocado with a spoon.

Sprinkle salt and papper as per your taste and drizzle some lemon juice over it.

There you go…..

I liked this new header. It is better than the first one :) Coffee tell me how to select an avocado while purchasing. The one I had purchased some time back was so difficult to cut. When I finely cut it, it was hard inside . The colour was like a kacchi kairi inside and could not scoop it. It was the first time I had bought one so I selected the smallest . It was dark green on the outside. Where did I go wrong ?    :?:
The salad looks so simple and tasty, but I will be able to make it only when I buy the correct avocado

There!!! When the avocado is still green its raw. As it browns, its ready to eat. Dark brown colour like the bark of the tree means you are ready to use that avocado. If you buy the raw ones, let it sit outside (not in the fridge) for 2-3 days and it should be dark brown by then. :)
